![]() ![]() The first tone knob closest to the sound hole controls the tone of the neck pick up, the middle is the overall volume control and the tone knob to the the right controls the tone of the bridge pick up, giving the guitar great tonal variety and projecting the acoustic depth and range of the guitar. The tone selector is the orange tipped one used on these models where the down position is the bridge only pick up, the middle position is both pick ups together and the up position is the bridge only. The main differences between this one and another one we have had in the shop was the pick ups were set the opposite way around and different tone knobs which just adds to its individual and hand made character. Each one of these illustrious Martin’s is slightly different. The guitar has it’s fair share of play wear, dings, scratches and the like but remains an absolute joy to play and hear it’s exquisite tones. The guitar comes with it’s original case which is in decent condition. Sounds exactly like the unplugged album, a truly beautiful sounding rare guitar.
